HL Civils was appointed to undertake the complete refurbishment of the R11 and R12 fuel-truck parking area at RAF Lakenheath. The fourteen-month programme involved removing the existing hardstanding and services before delivering new drainage and electrical infrastructure, a reinforced-concrete containment basin and a substantially enlarged concrete parking area.

HL Civils was appointed to undertake the complete refurbishment of the R11 and R12 fuel-truck parking area at RAF Lakenheath. The fourteen-month programme involved removing the existing hardstanding and services before delivering new drainage and electrical infrastructure, a reinforced-concrete containment basin and a substantially enlarged concrete parking area.
Complete refurbishment of the R11 and R12 fuel-truck parking area, including:
- Breaking out 8,750m² of existing parking area
- Removal of existing services
- Installation of a new drainage system
- Installation of a new electrical layout
- Construction of a large open-air reinforced-concrete containment basin
- Delivery of a new 10,025m² concrete parking area
- Installation of a new high-security fence line
- Completion of 9,800m² of soft landscaping
- Delivery across a fourteen-month construction programme
